
Until I came to Surp my life was closely linked to the rhythm of life in Barcelona. Maturity, experience … puts you in your place and calls you to seek what your heart really asks of you. It is for this reason that one fine day we decided to make the turn and take the suitcases to Pallars.
I worked for twelve years taking care of the elderly, where I became very involved with the people I had to attend to. Although I really liked what I did in the city, the desire to find my space in the rural world was stronger, Surp was waiting for us.
I am now where I want, doing what I want and what I like. I have very close and direct contact with the people who come toWellness Area. I do manual therapies that allow me to provide the person with whom I treat an improvement in their physical and emotional state. Here I show myself as I am, it is my space of freedom where I feel sincere and close with those who are at home.
Surp’s peace, silence, and light make it so much easier to let go and put yourself in my hands. Many times once the massage is finished, a magical moment arises while we chat and share an infusion.
I like that the small details are visible, personalize each room for you and do everything possible to make you feel at home.

After many years as a cook, teacher and directing the studies at the Hofmann Hospitality School , After achieving a professional career in the urban world of gastronomy, I decided with Silvia to change the scene. In 2004 we made the step forward of looking for a space far from what we knew until now and close to what we lacked in the city.
We landed in Surp, a small town in the Àssua Valley, in Pallars Sobirà. We bought and we restored an old barn, today those rubble are a magnificent and welcoming space: Lo Paller del Coc.
My dream was to combine work and life, that passion was the way to live. I live the kitchen from coherence, responsibility and freedom.
I am of few words, my language is aromas, textures and flavors. My message is the plate, my cuisine is frank, direct and transparent.
In the Gastronomic Space there are no barriers or curtains or doors. The diners and I coexist in the same space, sharing the pleasure of cooking.
My proposal, both of foods like cooking workshops, wants to be a unique experience made to measure and measure so that pleasure and health coexist in a harmonious way. The foods that I cook are top quality, local, ecological, artisans … with names and surnames so that all the energy of the earth reaches you.
